Those words—“mom” and “dad”—carry a weight so profound, a love so deep. For many, they feel like distant dreams, overshadowed by the heartache of fertility struggles. Surrogates often provide the answer to these otherwise elusive dreams.
Imagine the heartbreak of longing for a family, only to face setback after setback—years filled with hope, followed by unbearable loss. That was my parents’ journey. Eight miscarriages, each one shattering their dreams a little more, the last one a final pregnancy ended unsuccessfully after six agonizing months, so they turned to adoption.
Growing up, I often wondered: what if they had never heard the words “mom” and “dad”? What if they’d never had the chance to hold me, to share our laughter, love, and life together?
My mom and I founded this agency because we didn’t want others to live with those “what ifs.”
