A procedure known as an embryo transfer is what brings this whole process together.  Using IVF, mature eggs are collected from the intended mother or a donor and fertilized with the intended father’s sperm. When you are at an optimal point in your cycle, one or more of the fertilized eggs, or embryos, is transferred to your uterus.
